• June,2009:
  Credit Controller Joins Credit Committee
  
  Angel Smith has been selected as Vice President and Membership Chair of the Sandhills/Fayettville Chapter of the Credit & Financial Development Division of NACM. Mrs. Smith is the Credit Controller for the company.

 

• April, 2008:
  Company President Recognized by NASA
  
  Tom Harrington was recognized by the North American Steel Alliance for his 8 years of service on the Board of Directors and for his service as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2006 - 2008. Mr. Harrington was recognized at NASA's annual meeting in April.

 

• December 2007:
  Employee honored for 40 years of service
  
  Barbara Holland was recognized for 40 years of loyal and dedicated service. The company held luncheon in her honor on Tuesday, Dec. 18th, the date of fortieth anniversary with DuBose Steel. Mrs. Holland has been a long-term member of the steel sales department and was recognized for her commitment and focus on outstanding service for her customers.

 

• August, 2006:
  Company Joins MSCI
  
  The company became an Active Member of the Metal Service Center Institute. The MSCI is a trade association that supports and represents most elements of the metals value chain, including metals producers, distributors, and processors.

 

• April, 2006:
  Company Joins AISC
  
  The company became an Active Member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, Inc. The AISC, headquartered in Chicago, is a not-for-profit technical institute and trade association established in 1921 to serve the structural steel design community and construction industry in the U.S. AISC's mission is to make structural steel the material of choice by being the leader in structural steel related technical and market -building activities.

 

• April, 1998:
  Company Joins NASA
  
  The company became an Active Member of the North American Steel Alliance or NASA. The mission of the North American Steel Alliance is to strategically link the highest quality independent member -owned steel service centers with preferred suppliers. NASA attempts to create and share increased opportunities for on going success throughout the entire NASA Community. NASA has become an integral part of the companies' strategic plan as evident through the active involvement of Tom Harrington on the Board of Directors.
